3. General information:
On March 31, 2020, the first introductory meeting of the Technical Committee for standardization №110 «Best Available Techniques» on the basis of NCO «International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center» (TC for BAT) was held by correspondence.
The meeting was attended by TC members representing large industrial enterprises such as «Kazzinc» LLP, «Kazakhmys Corporation» LLP, JSC «NC «KazMunayGas», JSC «Samruk-Energo», JSC «KazTransOil», JSC «TNС «Kazchrom», «Eurasian group» LLP and other enterprises, as well as representatives of ALE “Republican Association of mining and metallurgical enterprises” (AMME), ALE “Kazakhstan Association of oil-gas and energy sector organizations “KAZENERGY”, ALE “Kazakhstan Association of electrical energy”, ALE “Kazhimprom”, ALE “Kazakh Association of regional environmental initiatives “EcoJer”, ALE "Association of environmental organizations of Kazakhstan” and representatives of research institutes and higher educational institutions.
As the results of the meeting, approved the work Plan of TK on BAT for 2020 and Technical working groups for the development of BREFs, which includes representatives of government agencies, industry associations, public organizations, scientific institutions and independent experts, for the following sectors of economy:

- • «Oil and gas processing»
- • «Combustion of fuel in large installations for energy production»
- • «Production of organic and inorganic chemicals»
- • «Mining and metallurgical industry»
- • «Production of cement and lime".
