These included a technology for converting industrial waste into construction materials, as well as the launch of paper and cardboard production from waste paper. A total of 10 enterprises from the region are taking part in the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>The projects have already attracted interest from international partners and investors. They are aimed at reducing environmental pressure, expanding recycling, and creating new jobs in the region.<\/p>\n<p>At the stand of the Kyzylorda Region, integrated solutions in waste processing and the circular economy were presented. In particular, the display included projects on waste-to-energy conversion with electricity generation, the processing of municipal solid waste to produce glass containers, as well as technologies for recycling tires, plastic, and waste paper into secondary products.<\/p>\n<p>The Karaganda Region\u2019s exposition presented modern technological solutions in water treatment and industrial processing. The Minister was shown a multi-stage water purification system that includes mechanical, carbon, and sorption filtration followed by disinfection, ensuring a high level of water safety.<\/p>\n<p>Solutions for industrial waste processing were also presented, including the production of granulated slag and slag crushed stone used in construction, industry, and agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Aktobe Region\u2019s exposition, students of the Aktobe Higher Polytechnic College presented innovative environmental projects. Among them was the startup TazaPrint, focused on recycling plastic waste, including PET bottles, into filament for 3D printers. The project helps reduce waste volumes while making 3D printing materials more accessible.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a waste compaction project was presented, aimed at compressing lightweight materials such as plastic and metal in order to reduce their volume, optimize logistics, and improve the efficiency of further recycling.<\/p>\n<p>Following the visit, the Minister noted the high quality of the projects on display and emphasized the importance of scaling up regional initiatives aimed at reducing environmental pressure, advancing green technologies, and building a sustainable economy.<\/p>\n<p>RES 2026 EXPO is taking place in Astana from April 22 to 24 as part of the Regional Environmental Summit.
