Implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the project aims to enhance grid efficiency, reduce energy losses, and decrease reliance on coal-based power generation.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze current policies and introduce regulatory reforms to modernize the grid.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the feasibility of advanced technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen the financial sector&#8217;s capacity for green investments.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage regional replication of successful solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why It Matters:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kazakhstan is Central Asia&#8217;s largest greenhouse gas emitter, with the energy sector contributing 85% of national emissions.
