These audits are designed to assess the actual environmental impact of industrial activities, identify critical issues, and outline pathways for transitioning to BAT.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1264\">Based on the audit results, a number of new sector-specific BAT Reference Documents will be developed, reflecting the characteristics of Almaty\u2019s industrial clusters.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1547\">Previously, 20 BAT Reference Documents were officially approved in Kazakhstan and registered in the national legal database adilet.zan.kz. These documents serve as the legal and technical foundation for sustainable environmental modernization in key sectors of the economy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1720\">Specifically for the industrial activities in Almaty, in addition to the already approved documents, new BAT Reference Documents will be developed for the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1723\" data-end=\"1790\"><em data-start=\"1723\" data-end=\"1788\">Production of food products, beverages, milk and dairy products<\/em><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"1837\"><em data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"1835\">Production of glass and ceramic products<\/em><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1909\"><em data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1909\">Dyeing of textile fibers, bleaching, and dyeing of textile products<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1911\" data-end=\"2105\">These BAT Reference Documents will enable enterprises to transition to the category of best environmental solutions, significantly reducing their negative impact on environmental components.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2107\" data-end=\"2374\">\n<p data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2374\"><em data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2337\">\u201cAlmaty is one of the first cities to begin practical implementation of best environmental practices. This reflects the strategic approach and political will of local authorities to ensure a sustainable future for the region,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"2337\" data-end=\"2340\" \/>emphasized Darhan Satybaldy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2376\" data-end=\"2741\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The adopted measures are being implemented as part of the \u201cTaza Kazakhstan\u201d national strategy, in close cooperation with relevant government bodies and the expert community.
