Partnership for the development of green technologies

The International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center and the investment company Foundry Holding Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, opening new horizons for the development of the ecosystem of green technologies.

The main purpose of the agreement is to create the GreenTech Hub, an innovative platform for supporting startups and implementing technologies that promote sustainable development and environmental protection.

The cooperation provides for:

  • Development of a self-regulating ecosystem of innovative startups in the field of green technologies (Greentech);
  • Organization of acceleration programs and educational courses for ecosystem participants;
  • Holding joint events: conferences, seminars, forums and B2B meetings;
  • Exchange of experience and promotion of projects in the field of environmental technologies;

Environmental technologies today are not just a trend, but the key to the future of the global economy. Investments in sustainable technologies are growing at double-digit rates every year, and the green startup market is showing high profitability and steady growth. Global leaders, from corporations to national governments, are pouring billions of dollars into developing renewable energy, reducing the carbon footprint, and implementing solutions for the circular economy.

Against this background, The Foundry, together with the GreenTech Hub, will become the first specialized IT hub in Central Eurasia, which focuses on the development of green technologies and environmental startups, creating a major point of attraction for scientists and entrepreneurs from across the CIS region, and the signed memorandum creates the basis for long-term partnership and strengthening international ties in the field of sustainable development.

The GreenTech Hub project will be an important step towards creating a greener future and developing innovative solutions to address the environmental challenges facing Kazakhstan, and especially Almaty.
