Meeting with Enterprise Singapore and SMEC Held at the International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center

On February 5, 2025, the International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center (IGTIC) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Enterprise Singapore led by Yogeindran Thiayagarajah, Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, and Alan Yeo, Director for Europe. Representatives from SMEC, led by Kawa Baha, Executive Director, Regional Lead for Infrastructure and Energy (Central Asia & Eastern Europe), also participated in the meeting.

The IGTIC delegation was headed by Chairman Didar Karimsakov, who presented the Center’s activities, including the implementation of the GCIP Kazakhstan (Global Cleantech Innovation Program) to support cleantech startups, the adoption of Best Available Techniques (BAT) for sustainable industrial development, the

management of the Green Technologies Registry, and the development of investment projects in sustainable solutions.

 

During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities for collaboration and the development of joint projects in the field of green technologies, as well as prospects for Kazakhstani startups to participate in acceleration programs in Singapore.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and participate in the Singapore International Water Week in June 2025, where IGTIC representatives were cordially invited.
