Astana, October 7, 2024 – Representatives of the NJSC “International Green Technologies and Investment Center” (hereinafter referred to as the Center), led by Deputy Chairman of the Board Bekezhan Zhakeev, held a meeting with a delegation from Qingdao (China), headed by Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal People’s Congress Han Shouxin. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the China-SCO Technology Transfer Center, Qingdao Greensum Ecological Co., LTD, and Qingdao Lvfan Recycled Building Materials Co., LTD.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of cooperation between mutually interested parties, particularly in the fields of ecology, energy-saving technologies, carbon emissions reduction, increasing green spaces, and recycling construction waste.
The parties emphasized their readiness for joint activities to strengthen bilateral cooperation to promote initiatives in green technologies and investment projects.
As a result of the meeting, a mutual agreement was reached to implement joint initiatives and explore promising areas for deepening collaboration with the aforementioned companies from Qingdao. The parties expressed confidence that mutually beneficial partnerships would contribute to the further development of investment cooperation, technology transfer, and the achievement of sustainable development goals both in Kazakhstan and in China.
