Kazakhstan’s Startups Step onto the Global Stage: IGTIPC and Enterprise Singapore Forge Strategic Partnership

The International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects (IGTIPC) is opening new doors for Kazakhstan’s environmental startups. In a recent working meeting with Enterprise Singapore—one of the world’s foremost innovation agencies—the two sides agreed to collaborate in the fields of sustainable development and entrepreneurship support.

The discussions centered on practical steps to help Kazakhstan’s startups access global acceleration platforms such as SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology), where cleantech ventures have the opportunity to gain international recognition, attract investment, and benefit from world-class mentorship.

Key selection criteria, application requirements, and submission deadlines were reviewed in detail. This collaboration presents a real opportunity for Kazakhstan’s teams to gain visibility on the global stage, tap into leading environmental innovation practices, and fast-track their growth.

A dedicated part of the meeting focused on waste management. IGTIPC expressed keen interest in Singapore’s advanced methodologies in this area, while Enterprise Singapore confirmed its willingness to facilitate connections with specialized institutions and technical experts.

Both parties agreed this is only the beginning of a broader partnership—one that will evolve from startup support to the deployment of tangible green technologies across Kazakhstan.

“Singapore is a global benchmark in sustainable development. We are confident that this partnership will serve as a powerful catalyst in advancing Kazakhstan’s environmental innovations internationally,” noted Saken Kalkamanov, Acting Chairman of the Board at IGTIPC.
