The International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center (IGTIC) was awarded the Certificate of Best Cooperative Institution by the Green Technology Bank. The announcement was made during the 2025 Green and Low-carbon Innovation Forum, held in Shanghai as part of the Pujiang Innovation Forum.

According to the certificate, the BAT Bureau at IGTIC has been recognized as an authorized institution and official partner of the Green Technology Bank in the Central Asian region, engaged in the development and implementation of the principles of Best Available Techniques (BAT).

During the panel session, Kairat Masenov, Managing Director and Head of the BAT Bureau at the International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center, delivered a report on “The Transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Best Available Techniques.” He highlighted the progress achieved in the field of environmentally sustainable development of the industrial sector.

This recognition opens up new opportunities for strengthening international cooperation, attracting investments in green technologies, and consolidating IGTIC’s status as one of the key drivers of the transition to a sustainable and low-carbon economy in Central Asia.
