IGTIC and B&RETTC Host International Online Seminar Engaging Nearly 100 Chinese Green-Tech Companies

October 28, 2025 – Nearly 100 Chinese companies explored opportunities for cooperation and investment in Kazakhstan’s and Central Asia’s green-technology sectors during the online seminar “Overseas Market Investment Seminar & Eco Expo Pre-Briefing.” The event was co-organized by the Belt & Road Environmental Technology Transfer Center (B&RETTC, Shenzhen) and the International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center (IGTIC), with support from the Environmental Protection Associations of Henan and Jiangsu provinces.

The seminar builds on the partnership established between IGTIC and B&RETTC in May 2025, following the signing of a cooperation agreement. The initiative aims to expand international exchange in environmental technologies, stimulate cross-border green investments, and support the global scaling of innovative eco-solutions.

Kazakhstan’s innovation ecosystem was represented by IGTIC and several of its supported startups, including Kemel, Soil Solution, Kazecotech, TapQan Tech, and Birch. The companies showcased technologies in waste management and recycling, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, eco-materials, and sustainable agri-tech production.

Participants also learned about investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and Peru, as well as prospects for involvement in the upcoming Eco Expo, opening new avenues for collaboration and green-tech investment.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing joint initiatives, supporting innovative companies, and strengthening international cooperation in sustainable development and technological exchange.
