Ahead of Environmentalist Day, employees of the International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center (IGTIC) were honored with departmental awards from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for their contribution to environmental policy development, the promotion of green technologies, and the advancement of sustainable development principles.

The awards were presented to IGTIC specialists whose work has made a significant contribution to the implementation of environmental initiatives, the development of the green economy, the introduction of Best Available Techniques (BAT), and the support of innovative projects in Kazakhstan.

The “Excellence in Environmental Protection” badge was awarded to:

• Zarina Assylbekova, Chief Manager of the Green Technologies and Investment Projects Department;
• Altynai Mukhamedina, Chief Manager of the Green Technologies and Investment Projects Department.

The Honorary Certificate of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to:

• Aidar Yesembayev, Head of the Technology Commercialization Competence Office of the Green Technologies and Investment Projects Department.

Letters of Appreciation from the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented to:

• Alisher Kumargaliyev, Chief Manager of the Monitoring, Analysis and Integrated Environmental Permits Division of the BAT Bureau;
• Dauren Maidan, Chief Manager of the BAT Reference Documents Division of the BAT Bureau.
