2 Structural division Department of Strategy and Analytics
3 Functional responsibilities 1)      implementation of activities under contractual obligations within the competence of the DSA;

2)      participation in the development and submission for approval of the Company Development Strategy and the Plan for the implementation of the Company Development Strategy;

3)      implementation of measures to monitor and analyze the implementation of the Company Development Strategy and the execution of the Strategy Implementation Plan;

4)      participation in the development, updating and monitoring of the achievement of Key Performance Indicators in accordance with the Company’s Development Strategy;

5)      participation in the preparation, together with the structural divisions of the Company, of a consolidated analytical report on the implementation and monitoring of the Strategy and execution of the Company’s Implementation Plan;

6)      participation in the process of forming and submitting for consideration by the Board of Directors of the Company reports on the implementation and monitoring of the Strategy and the execution of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Company’s Development Strategy;

7)      participation in the preparation of the annual report on the results of the Company’s activities;

8)      participation in monitoring and analysis of the fulfillment of contractual obligations with the authorized body;

9)      participation in the development and preparation of summary analytical information on the fulfillment of contractual obligations and submission of reports to the authorized body;

10)   participation in the work on conducting analytical work based on official statistical data in the field of green economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

11)   participation in the study of international experience, trends and tendencies in the field of green economy development;

12)   participation in the preparation of recommendations for improving risk management policies and procedures;

13)   participation in the development, coordination and submission for approval by the authorized bodies of the Company of internal documents in the field of risk management, as well as their implementation in the Company;

14)   participation in the process of organizing the creation of effective documentation of the risk management and internal control system (hereinafter referred to as RMS and ICS);

15)   participation in the work to improve risk management processes and procedures;

16)   participation in monitoring the Risk Management System (RMS) and Internal Control System (ICS) by identifying, identifying and assessing risks, maintaining/updating the register and risk map;

17)   participation in the work on the formation and submission of risk management reports to the authorized bodies of the Company in accordance with the established procedure;

18)   participation in the process of monitoring and informing the Management Board and the Board of Directors about significant deviations from established risk management processes, as well as information on the implementation of the action plan for their management and prevention;

19)   participation in the analysis of the risk portfolio and development of proposals for a response strategy and redistribution of resources in relation to the management of relevant risks;

20)   participation in the work on submitting proposals to the management of the Company on improving the Risk Management System and Internal Control System;

21)   participation in the work on the development, coordination and submission for approval by the authorized bodies of the Company of Corporate KPIs;

22)   participation in the work on organizing methodological support for the formation of Corporate KPIs of the Chairman and members of the Management Board;

23)   participation in the work on the formation and submission to the Board of Directors of the Company of annual reports on the achievement of Corporate KPIs of the Chairman and members of the Management Board;

24)   participation in the work on the development and preparation of draft documents and materials submitted for consideration by the Company’s bodies (Board of Directors, Management Board), the executive management of the Company within the competence of the DSA;

25)   participation in the preparation of presentation, reference materials, and abstracts of speeches within the scope of their competence;

26)   performing the duties of the chief manager of the DSA/deputy director of the DSA/director of the DSA during his/her absence for a valid reason;

27)   implementation of other instructions from the DSA management within the scope of their competence.

 

  1. Requirements for candidates
1 Level/profile of education Higher (or postgraduate) education in law/social sciences, economics and business/humanities (ecology)/technical sciences and technology/natural sciences.
2 Experience in a professional environment (profile/duration) At least 3 years of practical work experience in the professional field/related field.

Experience in large companies or international corporations is welcome.

3 Additional requirements A Master’s or MBA degree is desirable.

Professional certification in strategic planning/digitalization/information technology is desirable.

4 Knowledge, experience and key skills 1)      experience in developing and implementing strategic plans/development programs, business development programs or experience in the field of strategic planning;

2)      experience in developing and implementing methodology in the areas of strategic planning and corporate development functions;

3)      experience in interacting with external bodies and organizations on issues related to the implementation of the Development Strategy, budget program and corporate development;

4)      experience in developing and implementing motivational key performance indicators;

5)      experience in developing and updating the corporate governance system;

6)      experience in developing internal regulatory documents on the risk management system;

7)      experience in conducting comprehensive research in the field of strategy and analytics;

8)      skill in conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including surveys, interviews, focus groups and big data analysis;

9)      skills in presenting research results in the form of reports, presentations and infographics, as well as the ability to clearly and accessibly explain conclusions and recommendations;

10)    knowledge of legislative and regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating environmental issues;

11)    skills in developing proposals and introducing amendments to legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

12)    skills in monitoring the implementation of strategic plans/development programs;

13)    skills in developing and monitoring the achievement of key performance indicators of the company;

14)    skills in developing proposals and introducing amendments to legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

15)    knowledge of the process of strategic management and business planning, project management;

16)    knowledge of the principles of corporate governance;

17)    knowledge of the principles and methods of building sustainable development systems;

18)    understanding of modern trends and best practices in the field of strategic management, and the ability to adapt them in the context of the company’s current and future projects;

19)    proficiency in the state language at a level above average;

20)    above-intermediate level of English proficiency;

21)    confident user of MS Office programs.

5 Personality characteristics Skills in effectively interacting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Skills in negotiation, coordinating positions and achieving consensus.

Developed communication and presentation skills, including preparation of analytical materials and delivery of presentations and analytical briefings.

6 Level of language proficiency, including the state language (indicate which) Proficiency in Russian and Kazakh. Proficiency in English at least at the Intermediate level (preferred).
7 Personal computer skills (programs, level of proficiency): Confident user of MS Office programs;

Skills in working with modern information technologies.
