The topic of the webinar: "Water Resources in the Context of Globalization".
Given Kazakhstan’s shortage of fresh water, this topic is of high relevance.
This webinar will provide an opportunity to discuss issues of water scarcity both worldwide and in Kazakhstan, as well as to consider possible solutions, including in such areas as:
1) increasing the productivity of water resources use;
2) management and use of transboundary water bodies.
The webinar will be attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, well-known experts in the water industry of the country and international experts.
