Olzhas Agabekov was appointed Head of the «IGTIC» NJSC
By the decision of the Board of Directors, Olzhas Agabekov was appointed the Chairman of the Management Board of the «International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center» NJSC.
Olzhas Agabekov was born on July 30, 1984, in Balkhash, Karaganda region. He graduated from the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University with a degree in Jurisprudence.
He started his career in 2007 as a manager at the «Oil Insurance Company» JSC.
He also worked at the «Almaty Electric Stations» JSC, «KEGOC» JSC, the Apparatus of the Akim of the Zhambyl region, as well as at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the Zhambyl region.
From 2016 to September 2022 – Mr. Agabekov held the position of the Deputy Director of the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Energy, the Director of the Climate Policy and Green Technologies Department of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Mr. Agabekov is the Member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.
